ifs 6 lug to 8 lug

has anyone converted the ifs from a 6 lug to a 8 lug?
this is on a 93 chev suburban
i am converting the rear to a 14bff, and would like to have the same wheels front and rear

I did this conversion on my 89 Suburban. IF the front ends are the same between my 89 and your 93, you can use the front spindles, lower control arms (along with ball joints), and upper ball joints from an older burban (such as the 73 C20 I got my parts from.

Wait a minute, This conversion SHOULD work for you if you are referring to 2 wheel drive. If you are talking about an IFS 4 wheel drive, Disregard all information I just posted.

Won't work on a 4WD as he stated. I tried it with a couple of friends a few years ago. The IFS is very different between the 1/2 ton and the 3/4 - 1 ton stuff.
