Here is the issue, out of nowhere, the truck that once started up and ran great, is suddenly completely dead. Stopped at a gas station, filled up the tank, turned the key, and nothing, not even a click or grind. It had no issues previously, would always start right up.
Also, when you turn the key, it doesn't "kick back" in from the starting position, it just sort of freewheels. I am guessing it's the ignition switch, but I am a newbie and unsure. The headlights and accessories work fine. The battery cables have been checked for corrosion/tightness.
The truck is a '78, with a 400/TH400. Can someone walk me through how to take the steering wheel off and figure this out?
Thanks again!
