Ignition Control module question

There is rumor that over 4XXX RPM the stock setup in general starts to run out of...juice? Guess that's what I'll call it.

In reality, none of the truck motors are making power up there anyway (stock) so it will do nothing over the highly reliable GM modules.

Even with motors making power that high up, I've not seen the RPM "failure" of the stock system that seems is such common knowledge. It has probably been documented on a dyno, but I haven't seen any tests showing such, especially comparing NEW stock stuff vs. new aftermarket.
