Ignition Problems, Please Help!

Can anyone tell me why I would have spark between my coil and my cap and nothing at the spark plug? I've replaced the cap and rotor several times and I keep having the same problem within a few weeks. Thanks

No, Wondering if the coil is to week to jump with a little buildup.

How can you tell if you have spark between the coil and cap?
Seems to me that you wouldn't be able to see if it is sparking
or not.

I put a spark plug in the coil wire. The coil is not in the cap on this distributer.

Does it work right off the bat if you change the cap and rotor? What do the old caps/rotors look like? Sounds like your getting moisture in there or something. How many ohms resistance are your wires giving?
