HELP!! I can't seem to figure this one out! The only thing I did was change the right cylinder head. When I went to hook the battery back up the fuel pump kicked on as well as the ignition buzzer. I thought I better turn the key off but it was off. I've checked and tripple checked all wiring and can't come to any explanation. Unless the ignition decided it wanted replaced as well. Any ideas? I guess I should teel what I'm working on. 1995 ck1500 w/350

check to see if the ignition "SWITCH" is stuck on,not the key. The switch should be down on the lower part of the column ,under the dash.

Could be a bad selinoid/starter. I had a 69 chevy truck that, at times, it would continue to turn over even though the engine was running. New starter and selinoid fixed it.
