Ignition switch question

The chrome thing that ya insert the key into keeps falling off. The thing you twist to turn the switch to on/start or back to accessories. It's broken off.


How the heck do ya fix that?

you would have to rplace the entire ignition cylinder lock. You have to pull off the steering wheel and remove the lock plate and wire harness from in side to get to the bolt that holds the lock cylinder inplace. Un bolt it, slide the old one out and and reverse the whole process to put it back together. I would recommend renting a steering wheel puller and the tool to depress the lockplate and some snap ring pliers the make it easy on your self. Hope this helps.
