i just bought a 1974 International pickup for $300. it has 3/4 axles under it and i was wondering if they will bolt up to my 1985 k5 blazer and if i would have to do anything to the steering. i think the axles are a dana 44 and a dana 60 but im not for sure. any advice would be great

What is the width of the axles? What is the lug pattern? A lot of Jeep guys pay top dollar for IH axles. Maybe you would be dollars ahead to sell them?

Hes talking about IH pickup axles though not scout axles. Two different beasts. I know the axles are the same dimensions as chevy axles but as far as spring width and shock mounts I couldnt say.

The front spring mounts are the same. The big difference is the knuckles out. The rotors are very expensive(150$) and unique to them selves. Spindles have a smaller diameter, different pattern. I put all Chevy stuff on mine, knuckles out. If it is in good shape go ahead and run it. Just don't plan on having a maintenace plan for the I.H stuff.

Steering. You just need a Chevy arm. The push pull in unique to I.H. It is indeed a rear 60, but narrow. I will be swapping in a 14 bolt when i do the lift and stuff.

and 3/4 and 1ton i.h. used divorced 205 tcase. and the frame width to chevy is the same. and divorced 205 use 32 spline in and out on all ports.

Just build the IH truck and wheel that. It'd be unique as you don't see too many of them on the streets.

i wanted to build up the IH but the body is junk and the previous owner put on this homemade body lift and ruin the body. but im guna try and get some pics for you guys.
