been there once said i would never go back, went back anyway...lets just say i won't go back again, at least to race. They are very disorganized. And believe me i hate to say that cause i wish there were more eventes of this type!

It's August 18th and 19th in Mendota, Illinois.

Even if it is disorganized my friend was still the first one through the pit last year.

It's more organized this year, they're having two classes of back to backs, one for small blocks and V6 and one for big blocks and Diesels. I'm not participating in either. They've also got show and shines, sled pulling, (which I was going to do but my frame's all bent so there's nowhere to hook it) dirt drags, tough truck, and mud bogs.

I'm only doing mud bogs, unfortunately. Next year maybe I'll pull the sled if I get a new frame.

I would love to check it out but, unfortunately my tranny went bye-bye a few months back. I haven't had the time or cash to fix it yet. Maybe I will have some time this winter.

Is it close to Chicago?
