1/2 ton status
In all the confusing trades between myself and people I know, I got back today an '84 Chevy that I had before.
Let's start way back...
In 2002-2003 I had a '78 Chevy truck,
that I traded off 2 times and got it back 2 times, and finally traded it a 3rd and final time. Jon had this '84 K5 Blazer... I got it and he got the '78.
Jon later traded the green '78 Chevy truck in for a lifted green '79 Chevy shortbed fleetside.
That's Phase 1.
I got the '84 Chevy K20 in July 2004 from Alfredo in Moses Lake. (shown on trailer)
I traded the '84 Chevy K20 to Chuck minus motor for an '80 K20 with motor (rougher body)...
and then I traded the '80 K20 to Jon for the green '79 K10 shortbed minus motor. (shown on trailer towed by Brutus)
That was phase 2.
I fixed up the '79 Shortbed and sold it,
Chuck fixed up and lifted the '84 K20 and drove it,
and Jon fixed up and lifted the '80 K20 and drove it.
And the last phase of trucks switching owners:
Jon sold the '80 K20 to me and then I re-sold it.
Chuck's motor in the '84 K20 went out, and he sold the '84 to Jon who was truckless after he got rid of the '80. Chuck then used the money to buy an '83 K30 Diesel. In the meantime I had bought an '84 K5 from Dillon.
Then Chuck wanted the '84 K5, so I traded the '84 K5 lifted with 3/4 ton axles for the '83 K30 Diesel. I got the '83 K30 and lifted it a little and am driving that now (shown here dropping off a K5 at Alfredo's in Moses Lake, where the '84 K20 came from to begin with).
Jon put a 350 in the '84, and it started knocking. Now today, I traded him Brutus for the '84 K20... so now the '84 has come back to me.
Brutus:
The '84 K20... mine again.
Who knows where it will go from here...
