only 40k on the reman 599 engine.

2500 so i guess thats a 8 lug 10 bolt up front? and an 8 lug SF 14 bolt out back? with the Blazer wrecked, it sure is a nice thought to replace it with this... to bad i dont have the cash, no one wants to buy my camaro, or the wrecked blazer, and im still paying off my jetta :doah:.

When did you wreck the Blazer? Did i miss that?

oh. i think i did a quick blurb a while ago. but back in february, durring the blizzard down here. I volunteerd to drive around and pick up doctors and nurses and take them into the hospitals so they could get to work. Driving down the interstate i went to drive between a semi and a snow plow (yes, hindsight is 20/20, still kicking myself) and the semi rather suddenly veered into my lane. i got off the gas and turned to avoid him, truck went sideways, did kind of a buttonhook manuver, and ate a jersey wall at 40 mph. luckily i was the only one in the truck at the time. he took it like a champ. no leaks, never stopped running. and even finished my run, picked up 4 more nurses. truck is still driveable, but the drag link is bent into an S, the steering wheel is 90* to the left to go strait. the hood wont close, front end is a bit askew. Other than that, seems pretty good. just havent had the funds to get it to the body shop and get it straitened out.

thanks man, cest la vie eh?

on the bright side it seems the damaged parts of the front steering/suspension were ones id have to replace anyway when i do the lift and 1 ton swap. so as long as the frame isnt bent, no harm no foul.

I sounds as though the driver's rail might be tweaked if the drag link is bent up...hopefully not though. Front sheet metal is cheap and easy to replace. Depending on where and how the frame may be bent it might be easier to graft a new front rail on.

yup already got a new fender and door, but havent put em on. i want to have the frame checked by a bodyshop before i do anything.
