Hey guys and girls, just wanted to say this site is awsome:bow:
Ive had my blazer for about 4 years now and am pretty dam proud of it!!
It is your forum and the archive page that has pushed me to turn my blazer into a 4wd drive again, When i bought the truck it had the trans case and shaft removed , no idea why , it didnt bother me until i found an old 77 k5 cheyeene parked in a garage,i had alook under it to see a np205 t case, needless to say it was on a trailer and home, its now being fitted to my 82 blazer,First question is .Ive found out from you guys:bow:that my hubs are full time hubs, and have 5 hex bolts holding the cap on the hub,now on the dana 44 diff thats coming of the 77 the the manual locking hubs are 6 hex bolts:doah:why is this? And can i just swap them over some how? Oh also im running a 468 chevy , holley 750 d pumper, crane 280 cam , performer rpm intake , headers and flow masters , is it ok to run a th 350 behind this as thats whats on the 77 np205, im running a th400 at the mo? thanks in advance guys!

The Whole Hub comes out when you are going to sawp to manual to the 5 hex bolts wont matter cause you are changing the guts that the bolts go into as long as your axle splines are the same they will work. run the turbo 350 til you blow it. then so manual trans!!!

Would love to show you guys a picture or 20!! ive got the complete dana 44 ready to bolt on now, should i just do that? instead of pulling them both apart?,oh and how do i put pictures up?? ilikemud i have seen a manual in the junk yard (tempting).

How do i put pictures up?

Need to now how to put pics up , so yall can see my blazer?

hmmmm still finding it hard to put pics up??? my truck is on youtube, check out the 454 blazer its white with blue stripes, will keep trying to put pics up here tho,by the way how do i post new a new thread?? have some more questions?....

So can i not make new threads unless im a paid member ? just have a few more questions :ive just had the th350 over hauled , and put a 3000 stall tourque converter in , and well i dont think its the best idea ive had , took it on the sand and it heated up pretty dam quik, any advice guys ie put a stock tourque converter back in? got some second hand heads they the 781s i thinking of putting them on next week ive got the stock small ovals on , but the intake ive got is for the large ovals, so im sure im missing some power some were.

If your a paying member you can do pictures immediately, 15 posts rule keeps out the spamming. You can make as many posts as you want paid or not paid.

Did you put a trans cooler on it with the higher stall converter the only way to change the converter is to pull the trans out.

So how do i start a new thread with new questions,or is it staring me in the face!, as for the tranny cooler i had one on before i overhauled it, its also leaking like a #&tch.think its from the seal around the pan ,no bigy.Appreciate the reply was kind of wondering why i didnt really get a good welcome when i first signed up,think it maybe were i live , im a brit working in bahrain as an electrical engineer , installing 400kV cable from saudi to bahrain .

As for starting a new thread, you just have to click the button that says new thread at the top of the garage forum.

The $25 opens up a lot of information on the site, as well as allows you to see the pictures that other members have here in the gallery. It is however easier to do a bit of searching on the site before asking, many questions have already been asked many times, and it will save you some time. You may need to be a paid member to use the search feature, it has been while since I paid and I can't remember for sure.

As for the welcome, there are so many members we don't always get a chance to welcome every new member. We are however much more friendly to those who help support this site. JK, welcome to the site, we don't have many brits here.
