im the new kid from texas.... i joined because you guys have the trucks that i want my truck to be someday.... its our project that we've been working on for a little over a year... it was intended as a show truck but its turning out to be a all go and no show truck....

its a 1972 k-10 6 inch superlift(no blocks) 35 inch xterrains new 350 and rebuilt th350 holly truck avenger carb duel electric fans.... its got the basic but im working toward what most of you guys have... its got some other doodads but anywayz just saying hey

Welcome to CK5, you will find a ton of information and helpful hints from many of the great people here! Sounds like you have a great truck, just make sure you wallets deep, b/c it can be spendy once your hooked!

no kidding, after megarun ( www.dfw-tx4wd.org ) were gonna get the body work done, its a long bed now but were gonna pull that off and put on a short bed for better departure angle... then trim the frame back to be flush with the end of the bed then hide a winch under there... so much stuff to do to the old trucks....

That's better than too many of the trucks you see these days - the ones that are all show and NO go. Billet aluminum everything - but bone stock underneath.
