i\'m about to buy swampers and i have some questions

is it ok to mount bias plied tires on regular steel wheels? and will a 13" wide tire mount up on an 8" rim ok, or should i get 10" rims? and are bias plied tires louder than radials on the road?

Yes you can mount bias plies on steel wheels. Yes they will fit on 8" rims and yes they are much louder on the street than radials. I have 38-12.50-15 on 8" wheels and have never had any trouble at all with them.

my jimmy had swampers on it when i got talk about loud
amp and two 12" speakers couldn't cover road noise,
sold them to my buddy and he loves them

scott, I personally would go with 10 inch rims because I think it will look better(wider sidewalls). Yes you can mount bias ply tires to steel rims, when did you ever have doubts of that.

why not run the manufacturers recommended rim width?

Those tires are really just 33x12.50"s, and 8" rims are fine.
I think they recommend 8-10"

yeah i kinda think they are, but interco is trying to sell them under a different name. but 33x13-16 is what it says on their site and in the magazines so that's what i'll say.
