Im about to go bigger... 37\'s.......

I'm looking at 37's to replace my 35's BFG MT/KM. Those were awsome tires but getting low. So i'm thinking either SSR's or MT'R's. Or should I just go 38's... is that that big of a difference? I have 4.10's, and can only get about 63mph at 2750RPM so i want more tire. I have 6" in the rear and 4.5 up front and gonna add like a small body lift(if nessecary) and cut my fenders to fit the tires. Whata yall suggest? Oh yeah, its just got a th350 /forums/images/graemlins/truck.gif

Sounds like a set of BFG K/M 37's would be just what you are looking for.

If you do a fair amount of highway driving you might look at the Goodyear MTR in 37". They are a radial tire and last longer onroad. If you don't do much highway or onroad driving I would go with some 38" swampers. Swampers will wear faster then the MTR's though. You won't get nearly the mileage out of the swampers that you got out of the BFG MT's. The next closest thing in 37" is the MTR wear wise.

I want 37 MT/Rs, MT/Rs perform better than K/Ms and they are WAY cheaper. The 37 BFGs are like almost $300 a tire I think and 17" rims are expensive too. www.tirerack.com For me it is like $620 delievered to my house for 37x12.50x15s.

I my truck is a daily driver, and i do a lot of highway driving. But i just love the look of a swamper. I would go with a 38 TSL, but with my 1/2 ton drive train im not sure how well it would hold up, and i want at least a 37". I also think 4.10's wouldnt be enough gear for a 38'. I like the fact that the MTR's are cheaper than the ssr's, but i love the look of the swamper. What performs better offroad? /forums/images/graemlins/truck.gif

I was suggesting Ground Hawg radials becouse they last for hiway use, are radials, do great in the mud, and come in verous sizes. Just a thought.
