I got rid of my K5 about 6 months ago and got this. Have been SLOWLY doing stuff to it since I got it. Haven't been around in awhile, even though its 2wd, I thought you all may still enjoy some pics and progress. Next I have to finish the 388 in the garage, CPP A-arms, and do the dash, headliner, seat, not to mention backdating to round lights. So far, so good. I mounted these today, 15x8, and 15x10 Rally wheels with cop car caps. 245/60/15 front, 295/50/15 rear.

Sorry for the ****ty phone pics, enjoy! :D

Looks good,
i've always like the look of lowered truck as long as they were done tastefully, none of that fat rolled tire looking crap, 13" Daytons, just a nice sporty type looking lowered truck.

tried it with my dually alittle while back, truck needed way too much work done to it, and i was getting ready to move 2000 miles, so it went away.

maybe someday i'll have another :D

Thanks guys. Yeah, the lights would have gone a LONG time ago, but the buckets, and turn signals I do not want to pay the price for LMC's stuff. The trim, sure, but the lights and everything were a lot, so I have been searching for nice OEM used. Any of you guys have that stuff laying around by chance? I got the rear bumper for $20! :waytogo:

The BMW's, eh, it comes with the territory. Don't think I'm a baller though, they are three year employee leases, at a deal I couldn't pass up, or share on the internet, lets just say one of them costs less payment wise then most college girls Civics. Unfortunately, the ONLY diesel they had at the port in the options I wanted, was the same color as my coupe. :doah:If I wanted something else, 9 month wait for allocation and build..... I can deal with gray X2. Atleast its not gold.....

My friends were trying to get me to do like 18-20" Foose or Torque Thrusts, still would have looked good, but thats a lot of money in wheels and tires, and I wanted something more clean and classic. Rally Wheels fit the bill.

A bit too late.
I scrapped my last 2 sets a year ago. Chrome bezel buckets... all I have left is the core support and yours is the same.

If it was me I'd add all the body trim to the truck so it looks like a Silverado instead of a Scottsdale.

Looks like a great paint job.

Ironic. I took all the trim off my '87 2wd to get the monochromatic look.

Nice truck!:thumb::thumb:

Thanks guys. It was a Cheyenne originally. Black with a white interior and had all the trim. The remnants of the white interior are still there. Door cards, seat belts, etc. Who ever thought of putting white anything in an interior, eh, but especially in a truck wasn't thinking. I guess it was the style of the times.

I like it with out the trim, so thats how it will stay, for now. I like trim too, but this isn't the truck for it. The paint job is about 15 years old and has some little cracks here and there, and no clear so I have to stay on it with wax, but 6 days a week its in the garage. If I repainted it, I would likely do a two tone in the original scheme, red with white top and center, or black with white top and center, and a nice pinstripe line instead of trim.
