make a 6x6 and triple transfer case /forums/images/graemlins/weld.gif

Take off all the sheet metal you can, especially around the tires so u can run as big of tires as you want with no lift.

Take your best frame, trade the body too someone with a tube bender and welder and build a truggy. If you're into crawling, a inline 6 in nice for torque. Just a idea.

take your frame thats in the best shape with the shortest wheelbase chop off the whole body setup coilovers up front and some 63" springs in the rear. slap on a cab from a old pickup and go flatbed in the back. order a rollcage so u dont have to build one. throw some 44 boggers on the back and some 44 tsls in the front. Id do 14 bolt rearend and dana 44 front if u wanted to stay 3/4 ton.

it was already one, now it needs to be able to crawl.

so the verdict is to put the pickup cab on the K5 chassis, no body hardly, flatbed rear.

now what tires will be reasonable? right now i have a 350 and a 205 I can use. no tranny yet, but i have a th350 sitting in the shop waiting to be rebuilt. th350/205 be good for you guys?

BIGORNGE90JIMMY had a great Idea even if you didnt narow it. You could even hack the front half off the K5 and use the pickup cab. super short bed /forums/images/graemlins/peace.gif The springs and housings definitly a god plan!!!! /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
