It's been awhile that I started the swap and I'm a little closer to that done mark, If there is such a thing.

Re: I\'m finally running 1 tons

Thanks guys....

Rocko, not quite ready to hit the trails yet. I need to gear the front to match the 5.13s in the rear and at the same time drop in a locker.

Almost there.

Re: I\'m finally running 1 tons

nm...just read your profile. when you are flexin' do the wide boggers hit the body? i was thinking of stepping up to 39.5's & i think 39.5x18 might be a bit wide

Re: I\'m finally running 1 tons

zakk,
Before the swap I was able to flex the suspension and have minor contact with the front fenders with the tires turned and some fender trimming. I was still running 14" wide wheels with the 39s.

After the swap I cut the fenders even more since I used a 14x15 wheel with a 3 1/2 backspacing to fit the D60 and that kicked out my tires even more. I'm still in that trial and error part of the swap and from what I can see it looks like I'm gonna have to cut the rear fenders as well.

Re: I\'m finally running 1 tons

How are the 5.13's on the street? Or is your K5 trail only?
I am still debating between 4.88's and 5.13's. I will be running 38.5 Super Swampers with a TH400 and NP205. Mostly mud and street driving.

TIA
