Dam, I was mounting tires last night until 3:30AM and almost sleeping on the last tire. But DAM, this is going to be the best BASH yet.
I can tell. I'm digging having new tires and so ready to have some fun.
My buddy Eric is flying in from Florida and he's never done the bash.
Be ready, because he doesn't stop and nether will I.
I'm going to make the bast out of this year for sure.
I wanna pull a JMS and bring some brisket or something to strap on our intakes or exhaust for a killer lunch. I want to do whatever it takes to make this the best Blazer Bash ever. I don't know if I'll have time to something extra special but I'm gonna try my best.
I might even donate some prizes I won last year.
I just want to let you know I love my brothers on CK5 and want everyone to have a awesome time. Dam it's going to be a great bash with great friends.
If you have ANYTHING to bring to make it a step above the past years, DO IT! If you have an idea, just do it!!! :thumb:
Let's make this one stand out over all past Blazer bash's. :woot::woot::woot::woot::woot::woot::woot::woot:
I've done them all. Think, think, think................:D
Let's take care of our brothers.
GET UR DONE!

sweet!! you needed those, I think you told me 2 or 3 years ago you were getting new tires.

I will! I'm gonna do it. Jason, I know I've been trying to burn out the old tires but they just don't blow! Got the new ones so I should be able to crawl much more and easier. Dustin, Bring them on, I'm sure we'll have some fun with them.
My buddy and I will be staying at the "6" so we'll be close to come down and bug you guys.

New shoes lookin' good on the Trooper, Dave! :waytogo:

really? i need to see this!

We did this a few years ago . I had brought a couple racks of BBQ ribs (dry rub/my own recipe), already cooked and wrapped in foil. We were running Gold Bar Rim, and down to the Golden Crack. After airing down, we distributed the packages to different rigs. I had one on the intake, Dave had one on top of the muffler, I believe Brandon had two - one on each exhaust, and some more I can't remember. The whole run had a BBQ smell... When we got to the GoldenCrack, the ribs were perfect temperature, and the hot lunch was great considering that it was a slightly cool day with a few sprinkles. :D :pimp:

I thought it an appropriately titled tune for the occasion..... throw in the fact that album kills it.....

That was F'in awesome. :waytogo: I was so hungry by the time we got to the crack it was unbelievable. Smelling the BBQ for hours before getting to eat it just got the juices flowing. Besides the "slightly cool cool day with a few sprinkles" was a bit colder and sprinklier than those of you with roofs remember:whistle:

I have cooked lunch every day for years on my intake at work. Even built a rack for the exhaust manifold with a lid. Had to leave the truck running all morning to cook a baked potato.

Always cook burritos when wheeling in the winter.

Just don't hit a tree. Burrito goes right through the fan.

I would just be paranoid it would start on fire.... :yikes:

Never burned anything. I started writing a cook book, (work was slow) for manifold cooking. Not just reheating. The potato was the hardest. If you can bake it, you can cook it.

Maybe ORD should give us each our dinners in the morning in foil and let us cook them ourselves. Same them some work.:haha:
