I will make ya a good deal on the Yukon gears. They're the best value. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

I bought my yukon gears at Randy's rung and pinion very helpful people the gears came with an unlimited waranty I also bought the spidergears and master install kit from them they threw in the installation video /forums/images/graemlins/pimp1.gif

Some good deals can be had on ebay. But if you insist on buying new, Yukon gears are good, Richmonds are considered by most to be the best. Me, I'd get the cheapest of the two. I currently have Yukons in the 14b out back (new from Randy's Ring & Pinion, can't remember what I paid) and Richmonds in the 60 up front (installed but never run, off ebay for $100).

I sell all of them, so I suppose it doesn't really matter. Some like Richmond, US Gear, Precision, etc., and is thus why I carry them all. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

Im running a 4.56 Yukon Gear gearset up front in the 10 bolt. I havent had any problems with them, and the guy who installed them said they installed easier than most other gears he has done. You can get them from Randy's Ring and Pinion, and you definitely cant beat their customer service. I recommend the Yukon Gears.

Richmonds seem to be the noisiest gear sets but are the toughest. This is what I have been told.

so what you all are saying then is it doesnt matter they all dont wear out easily. so then tim what kinda deal can you make me?/forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gifand what kind of warranty might there be if any

I can make you the best deal you're going to find anywhere on them, but how about spending $25 and becoming a CK5 member first so you can send me a PM about them? /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

I'll put another vote in for Richmond. Always seem to hold up well! But I have never heard any noise out of them....

The only noise complaints are going to come from incorrectly set up gears or cheap gearsets. No quality gearset is going to be noisy unless its 6:1 or numerically higher.
