well, actually....im going to be running the following:

10bolt
44flat top knuckles
8in BDS springs
zero rates(move axle 1in forward)
greaseable shackles
greaseable bushings in front

will this work??? i've searched and searched about this and found many posts about this but not with 8in springs??? im looking at this arm.. http://www.aa-fab.com/item-PM1001.html since it's a bit taller than others. will i have any interference problems with my 8in arched springs hitting the draglink(with zero rate in there)??? im going to get it all installed then order the draglink last from ORD or somewhere like that.

will moving the axle forward hurt anything at all???

i do plan on going D60, but not for atleast 6-8months. at that point i plan on cutting fenders and going hydro assist and so on..... right now, this seems the way to go(financially)

also, will i be able to use the draglink from my 10bolt on my D60 with just a new arm?????

one more thing...im not going hysteer since im only on street/mud...no rocks at all, so don't worry about that. just crossover.
thanks ya'll

are you running the zero rate for the lift and the axle movement or just the 1" forward it gains you? if you just want the axle forward you can shave the zero rate down to about 3/8".

PM FOR MUD he is running crossover with 8" springs and a zero rate moving the axle forward one inch. he had to do some custom stuff. I have 8" springs and crossover, no clearance problems. if I added a zero rate for height it would probably rub the drag link on the springs. if I also moved the axle forward I know it would rub.

I am running that exact set up,but with a set of 4 inch ranchos and a 60.The front is moved forward one inch and I have noticed the paint on the draglink has been rubbed from touching the tierod at full lock.I called ORD when I put together and they said it would clear but it obvisiouly has rubbed at some time.

i want the zero rate to relocate the axle...the height isn't that important to me...i didn't even think of shaving the zero rate. i will PM him and see what he has to say. thanks alot guys!!!!

if you're just wanting to move the axle forward has anyone ever experimented with custom spring perches? Cut off your old ones and get someone to make you new perches that relocate the axle forward...

I'll be keeping an eye on this thread as I too run 8" superlift springs and am going x-over this summer...

You can redrill the preches a inch back, to make the axle an inch forward. Im running 6" springs and a zero rate so its an 1.5" forward with ORD cross over with no problem. Muddybuddy ran 8"BDS springs with a zero rate with it 1.5" forward and crossover and I think his was fine. His drag link was straight tho, dont know if that made a difference or not.
