if it is because of clearance issues then take it off otherwise leave it on in my opinion. i would have one but i cant because of clearance issues to many low hanging trees lol

Use the old Ben Franklin theory.....line up all the goods and bads of both sides....like the need for night lighting, Then the effectiveness of having it cab height, then look at alternative locations for the lights and how effective they will be ...
maybe safety of the lights at thee particular location....
Then appearance....See which catogory gets the most check marks and go with it.......

The rig looks good either way....

I'l take them of for the summer. It does not get dark anymore anyways, and they are ilegal to have on there. They would haul my ass to the side of the road and make me come in for an inspection if I was caught in a vehicle saftey controll. (they will sometimes rig upp a controll post by the side of the road.)

Then I would be in all sorts of trouble explaining the new ride height and tire size etc.

I like the light bar and the moon visor together. If you do take the light bar off, take the visor off too. ( I don't like moonvisors so I'm trying not to be biased)

The Blazer is looking good ,eather way!!! Those 35" really made a big different. You know: "there's a different between knowing the path, and driving the path". Yeah,man, your definitly out there driving...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Maybe you'll find a grill-guard and winch to put up front. Then you can put the light up front.

I'm about to extend the frame and front spring hangers. I'm going to move the axle even more forward, to make clearance for 38.5 ", maybe even 44" !!!! Need a lot of fender-cutting too !!!

Screw them! leave them on. If they stop you, tell them if they broke down on the side of the road at night and you stopped to help, you could light up there whole car to help them. Just remember if your friend breaks in the evening on top of a mountain and you need light to fix it.......you would wish you never took them off! Besides, I have them and like them

syntes den ser kul ut med lysene på taket men, så var det politiet da. Så et lite spørsmål, hva slags aksler har du, hvor store dekk, heving og har du noen form for sperre? jeg har planer om å montere sperrer men kan ikke helt få bestemt meg om jeg tør satse på 10 bolt akslene.

Hei Rune.
10 bolts front and rear, 4 " suspension + 3 " bodylift, 35 12,5 15 Bfg's on 10 15 rims.

Planning to locate and keep spare rear 10 bolts with the same gearing in the garage in case they break (and they will)
To expensive and to rare to find 14 bolts in Norway, and then to start looking for 8 lug wheels and new tires...

you wouldnt know of any?
And we just started house building, so I know where my money is going:
