I\'m gonna regret asking this, but...

I see some of you just replacing the tub of your K5's. Well, mine could actually use a whole new body, but since I can't afford that, I'll hit the part most rusted. What does a replacement tub cost?

It really depends on a lot of stuff but a fiberglass one would run ya $5599

I bought a pristine '86 tub out of a wrecking yard for $400. they even left some goodies on it like springs, quad shocks, gauges, dash pad, spare tire mount, etc etc

Hey Dorian, do ya remeber that tub off of E-bay for $99 in WA. state....
I wonder if the guy ever sold it?

I would guess no. Thats just too big to move anywhere in the country. Thats one of those local sale only things, and as soon as you need one, you won't be able to find it : )
