My apologizes for posting in the garage...

Once I get around to it, ill get my membership back and post in the "Situation" room on my updates of retiring early etc etc. For those that didnt follow that thread. I quit (retired) early , at 45 yr old. Bought a decent piece of property and living life. Life is too short to work to death. I had unique opportunities and took them

Still rocking my K5, Funny part, in this town, its my Blazer that gets all talk, everyone knows it by now (been here a year). People would rather see old iron then modern "bro dozers".

A lil sample of what ive been up to;

Funny story about that one. I keep my AR on the back table incase I see deer during this season. I was walking from one room to another and looked out the back window and seen 5 does in the yard. I told g/f to get the dogs put away (cuz they will bark if they see the deer) and then went out the front door, laid down on the deck and popped that one between the eyes, it never took a step, dropped right there. So, that then proceeded to set my day in motion, lol. Good times............

My apple tree in the backyard is the wildlife supermarket. I have foxes, raccoons, ground hogs, deer, turkey and beers that come visit my yard at random times.

Good for you! And good to see you back around here.

But I will also say that I am jealous of your situation....

:ignore:

Congrats and welcome back!

Glad to see you back and enjoying your retirement.

I want to see some pics of the beers that come visit your yard.

That would be an awesome sight. I love to see wildlife that close. Especially the kind you can eat. I have no care to eat bear meat but those deer would be tasty.

Wild beer grows there? Hell sign me up. Even though I basically quit drinking I still want to pretend to party.

Sounds like the way I'd like to retire. Won't ever happen unless I win the lottery but enjoy it nonetheless.

Stoked for you brother! I am right behind you with land purchase. It's coming and oh how I can not wait!!!

Nice to have you back! I've been wondering how life has been for ya. Any new property developments? I think the last think you mentioned in your other thread was building secret storage into the house. Which, of course, isn't so secret if you tell us about it. ;) :haha:

Is that an after market "add-on" style roof rack I see on top of your K5? I've been considering adding one to mine, but I want to ask around before I make up my mind on what to buy.

Its from a Junkyard, its a Ford Aerostar roof rack, fits nice.

Oh yea, been VERY busy. Got a couple chainsaws, JD mower and have been going to town on the property., got field mowed and groomed and now we have bon fires out there during the summer Got an old shed tore down, used the wood to build some foot bridges over the creeks, been working on the inside of house, fixing all the crazy stuff previous ppl did. Managed to find numerous outlets and switches without their grounds, etc etc etc. KInda pissed at home inspector, he missed ALOT of things.

Also managed to buy an adjacent piece of property .45 acre with a nice 1959 Single Wide on it, the goal was to keep anyone from buying it aka no neighbors, paid more for it then I should, but whats the price of privacy.

Got pistol range set up, have 100yrd rimfire range out the back door. Eventually want to build a Run and Gun range, just have to figure out where (sooooo much room) and my property has nothing but natural backdrops (100 foot tall hills all over)
