Title suggests, I'm looking to make the swap to power mirrors for my 90 burb.
Through researching I see the door skins are different than mine so Ill need as much as I can get!
Wiring and switches as much as possible as well, I know there's wiring thats behind the dash but I can probably fab that up myself.

I have a pair of mirrors and a switch for sale in the General Parts forum, I'll bump the ad. I do not have complete doors or wiring available.

I'll check the ad! One thing I've read though is that the mount holes and glass are different, so having the full door set up is easiest. I'm going to continue looking into the swap, but if it's easy enough to just replace mirrors I'll hit you up!

The mounting holes are different. Each style of OE mirror use different holes, none interchange from style to style. The glass is physically the same, there's just a blackout sticker on the inside to cover where the mirror mount overlaps the glass so you don't see backside of the mirror bracket. I have windows but glass is typically not insurable with shipping companies so I don't want to ship them.

oh okay so glass I wouldn't really care about then. Would custom mounting be difficult? And I'd have to cover my original mounting somehow right?

Just depends on what style is coming off as to how much you’ll have to cover. I’d bet any scenario will leave you with at least 2 holes to cover. For the power mirrors, you could drill the doors and install some nutserts to bolt them on.

I have a complete set of power mirror doors, still attached to the suburban, in Roswell, New Mexico

Thanks for the answer! Do you know what it might take to get those to MD??
What condition are the doors in?

Might be able to pony-express them out there, don't know
Good shape, no rust, PM me your phone number, I will get you pics by the weekend
