I have no idea where to look but I need an OEM unit for my 1991 V2500 Suburban. My current computer is an aftermarket replacement and I think it might be wonky.
Any idea where I might find one?
Thanks in advance,
David

I've got a used 91 computer. Had a 700r4 though. I believe it to be the same, but post your part number to be sure. Much less than those linked on Ebay.

I will get the GM part number and get back to you. All the Ebay are the manufactured units I 'm trying to avoid as I already have one.
Thanks,
David

This does not have any reman markings on it. Came from a 91 burb.

Everyone is always so quick to blame ECMs for problems. Why do you think it’s wonky?
Yup, I had so many spares, I gave a buddy 3 after he called looking for one that would blow the B fuse. I still have plenty of spares, just not a '91 with a 4L80E. 700R4 ones are common.

Your 91 Suburban probably has ECM/PCM #16147060. This is the ECM/PCM for 4L80E equipped trucks. The RockAuto part number is Cardone PN# 777060. As stated above the chances that your ECM is the problem is not very likely.

I just sold my spare Sunday to a guy building an engine stand.
