Just wanted to say a few things, not sure where or how.... But I've already found good info here. I've never been on a forum, before. Had some FB groups, but lost my fb, (got labled) . But needed some old truck talk in my life, I'm building 1 of 2, 72 Blazer, and a 72 Jimmy. All rough, but straight time capsules!. Can't wait to get further along! First off "Jewel" the blue, with a cleaned up frame and some , excuse me but Chasi saver. New SS brake, lines, booster, etc, new tank, SS fuel lines, pump, HEI, Holly Carb, and some minor other things. Main goal is to get her on the road, sticker died April, 2000, hoping to drive before month is over. I would post some pics, but don't have a clue how.... Anyway, hope this isn't in wrong place!

Hey @TBartley72 welcome aboard

the software keeps you from posting pictures until you get more posts. If you decide to stick around, the paid membership works around that

If you’re going to document your build, start in this corner
Read through a few and see what’s up and different on ck5 from FB

There’s a post at the top of that page with builds that have indexes. Those are easier to find specific things

Have fun!

Good deal, and thanks, I looked for a new member page... Came up short. I'll start where you said, I'm excited to get these going. And here in Wv, they're rare, and old timers that new these trucks are even more scarse.. thanks again!

You will find your "tribe" here... :waytogo:

Plenty of 1st Gen knowledge available in these forums, and plenty of members that own, drive and modify them as well.

You'll see.

Welcome.

Alright, check it out, 2 of finest yard ornaments around!! Pics look blurry, on my end maybe they will clear when I post. I'll start a build thread later, show ya what's been started on the blue on. It was the better of two, although the green one is loaded, skid plates,tilt,ac,posi,3:73, etc
