Im new very new

Im having issues trying to figure out why my check engine light won't turn on
I have an 87 k5 blazer with 64k miles
It turned on before then suddenly just didn't come back on
Even when i turn the key and the rest of the lights in the instrument panel come on

Can anyone help me please

First thing to check is the bulb. That light does not see a lot of use if everything is working right, so the bulb usually lasts a long time. But its still a light bulb, so its going to go out sooner or later.

I checked it out and it was the bulb
She was simply not sitting right and during any kind of bump she would be knocked lose and would turn back on
