I'm not a traitor, really!

I found my 1500 dollar truck and didn't have to go very far...across the street (literally). Just keep an eye out and you will find one. There were tons of these things built. I bet there's a few in San Antonio...let me look.

I would not buy that truck with the intention of doing anything else but wheeling it until it breaks. Fords are pigs when it comes to swapping. I believe there is a special hell JUST for Ford engineers. My brother and I finished pulling the 460/C6 trans out of his Lincoln. BIG, HEAVY, long pig components, and it took days just to tear the front end apart to get it out. No way I would try to put a Chevy back in. Dad had an old 81 Ford as well, and has a '78 Detroit Diesel powered ford work truck Broke down and sitting of course). All of them have been an absolute nightmare to work on, whereas tearing down a Chevy takes 1/10th the time and aggravation.

where the hell were trucks like that when i bought my C2500?! stupid 2wd piece of ****! i would've rather bought something with a transfer case, but it was the only decent truck i could find in my price range. i'll be making a $2000 profit on it when i sell it, so maybe i'll get to buy my straight axle 4x4 after all.
