Well I missed my chances, one guy shot a doe, another missed a shot on a doe, i saw nothing but the usuall, birds, squirrels, but found some hog tracks....mmmmm might hunt them one day soon....

Yep he shot a doe, we're enrolled in the DMAP program so we get x-amount of doe tags a year. The program (Deer Management Association Program) allows for so many does to be harvested to try and even out the deer heard for healthier bucks. Each year a wildlife biologist comes out and surveys the land for vegitation and deer signs and from there decides what amount of deer our land holds per acre and then issues us so many doe tags for that season.

Dont feel too bad. The turkeys generally mock me as well. Send their little squirrel friends to track me out- Leave deer poop in my path. THen when I leave, the turkey are out within the boundary lines right by the highway. /forums/images/graemlins/doah.gif
