Actually, I've had my eyes out for quite awhile, searching evilbay & craigs list regularly for a set of sb2 or sb2.2 heads and intake. I would prefer the sb2.2's.
Does anyone know where a person may could find a set of sb2/sb2.2 heads & the matching intake? They seem to be like a needle in a haystack!
I wonder if I can't find them b/c anyone who has a set of these heads & the required sb2 intake just don't want to get rid of them? Or is there some other reason that they can't be found?
Seems like over the past 2-3 yrs that I've been looking, at least 1 set would have surfaced somewhere.
Their casting numbers are:
SB2:- 24502559...............96-97.....Bowtie, "SB2", 1st version,
..................................................."mirror ports", aluminum, 196cc port,
...................................................CNC version 280cc port, 38cc chamber
SB2.2:- 12480011............97-up.....Bowtie "SB2.2", 2nd version of SB2",
...................................................."mirror ports", aluminum, revised valve angles
....................................................& plug location, 48cc chamber
