Older siblings are usualy VERY good with the new brother or sister. Just sit them down and do your best to explain that Mom is going to have to spend a lot of time with the baby because they can't do anything for themselves. Try to do something special for your oldest on occasion to make sure they get the attention sometimes.
My 9 year old I was worried about it also. Being a little older I'm not sure it made it worse of better but one thing is fore sure is she is proud of her baby sister. She can also make her laugh when not even the wife and I can. They have a great bond. Maybe even better than mine with the youngest. Even at 9 months old you can tell the baby looks up to big sister. They know....
