I ordered new shocks, Ubolts, brake lines, D60 kingpin bushing/spring kit, and a pitman arm. These were in the box and I dont have the foggiest idea were they go.:dunno: I feel stupid here:doah:

Steering stabilizer bolt.

I think the metal tubes are for if you have smaller holes or wide ears to mount shock absorbers to, you slide those into the bushing so they hold it tight...if that makes any sense.

If you didn't order a steering stabilizer they may be for the rear upper shock mounts, although many times those have a wider base on the stud.

Rear shock, replacement upper mounting stud.

If it were for a stabilizer it would have a short tapered shoulder on the big side to fit the tapered hole in the tie rod.

Ok, I have a direction to go at least now. Only one came with the box and it looks like it is slightly tapered so its probably the stabilizer bolt. I feel much better now:thumb: Thank you:bow:

That is NOT the taper for the stabilizer, check your other shock boxes. I have seen them before with a straight stud like that, and a tapered sleeve that surrounds it for the stabilizer though.

This is a steering stabilizer stud -

Replacement studs for the rear shock, i had several of them laying around, ya don't need them if the factory mounts didn't break off or loosen up during shock removal, or other types of abuse

toss them in the spare bolt bin. :D

x2 They are the upper shock mount for the rear. No need to replace them if the old ones aren't bad. I have a pile of them laying around.

Alright I see what threw me off now. I'm even dumber than I thought:D. When I opened the box all the stuff was individually boxed inside. Exept this one bag with sleeves and the stud. When I looked harder and opened all the individual boxes I found the other set in with one of the shocks. Thanks again guys. Der, I not smart:doah:

The guys are correct again. That is definitely a rear upper shock mount. Mine bent after a hard trail run; when they do that they can mess up your shock bushing. I ended up making my own, it's somewhere in my thread if you want to see it.
