700r4 TV cable to a Vortec?

Im putting a 96 Vortec 350 into my K5 along with my 700r4. What i need to know is how do i hook up the TV cable to the Vortec. Im willing to "Rig" something if it works, but im lacking the imagination to do so.It looks like if i had a longer cable i could make it work, but I know of nothing that would have a longer cable. Basicly, i just need to be pointed in the right direction to fix this, and if there is a kit out there i dont know of,that would be awesome. Thanks in advance. Josh

The 'spend money'' method is to look up if Lokar makes just such a cable kit. Could be worth saving yourself a lot of aggrevation.

Thanks for the info, Lokar had never even crossed my mind.I was already passed the aggrivated point. I looked at it again after taken a break and i think i can figure something out. Thanks again.
