Here is my problem. I have picked up an 81 k5 for next to nothing but I can't find anyone with a trailer wide enough to tow it with the 33" tires. Does anyone know of a company that rents this size trailer or maybe a tow bar so I can get it home. If anyone is in the area of south GA and would be willing to help out I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you

Are the tires too wide for the trailer? You may have to put a set of skinnies on the truck just to tow it without a modified trailer (with driveover ramps). /forums/images/graemlins/thinking.gif

Could you find sone stock wheels to mount on front so you could use a tow dolly /forums/images/graemlins/whistling.gif

Walmart rents tow bars. They run about $150 for as long as you need it. The kicker is, you dont even have to take it back! /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif

im confused too, care to elaborate on what you mean by "suicide"? There is nothing wrong with loading a truck backwards onto a trailer that I know of.
