I want to be able to properly do cast to mild alah nickel rods. Always happy to add another tool to the arsenal of course. Theres always the steadfast lincoln tombstone but Im really more of a miller/hobart guy.

I know what my $300 options are for the conventional large machine but what about this little guy from lowes?

It looks like a nice little machine. Comes in 20 amps under a tombstone but seems 1000x more portable. Any experience? Plus Ill get 10% off since Laura works at lowes.

Does no one seriously know about Nickel-Iron-Manganese mig wire?

Its expensive but not nearly as expensive as another welder

I really need to get the marina a stick... I'm tired of dragging the MIG down there, and especially changing spools...
