In the middle of my axle swap; hmm

Why? In any event, my drums we're spent and I got loaded calipers for $18. Don't see how I could've spent less by replacing the original brakes.

I did this recently and found my hubs were cracked from too much RTV being used to seal the axle flange back on the hub. Make sure the bolt holes in the hub are clear of any old RTV. RTV wont compress much and when you torque the flange bolts you can crack the hub. I have photo proof.lol After they are clean and you put things back together only put a light coat on the flange gasket and try not to get much in the bolt holes.
