I just swapped out the tranny of my '87 K5 with an '86 Chevy pickup. 4x4's. they both had 700r4's. How much fluid should go back in the tranny, and do i need to fill the transfer cases separately? If so, do I fill them with regular transmission fluid? (the transfer cases have 6 bolts)

Thanks,
brandon

i think its 10 or 12 quarts if you install a new TQ converter and the trannys were fresh built meaning EMPTY. NP208 takes ATF and it actually runs seperate from the tranny fill it seperatly. not sure on quantity there just fill till it spills
