whoever chopped the harness off to install the aftermarket gauges didnt leave me much of an option to try to replace them with a OEM cluster. Ive made the decision cut it off again and run new wires for the dakota dash mudule as soon as its running correctly

I have a stock harness that had the wiper switch connector cut off. I could get you sections of wiring and connectors off of that harness or even send you the whole thing.

Thanks but i have 2 full harnesses from the scrap yard and 3 clusters that dont work when connected, thats why i bought the dakota digital dash to avoid all the horse shit mess and start fresh

When ever you see that someone has used wire nuts to do automotive wiring, you know you are in trouble. Back when when I bought my old square body somebody did a real hack job of wiring on the trailer harness using wire nuts. I cut that rats nest out of there.

Being "old" at 74 and being a mechanic for all of my life (now retired) has it's benefits. The young whippersnappers come to me for diagnostic advice on their "projects". If it does not connect to diagnostic equipment they are totally lost! I mentor them the best I can.
