inboarding shock kit question

Hey yall wonderin if anyone that has the diy4x shock inboard kit have a picture of where the ends are mounted on the frame rails?they are not that clear on their websites photo.or if youve made your own .diy4x have great **** but i dont got the cash for this so im making my own modeled after their picture .its on a 78k5 .im just confused it says it uses a bump stop rivet hole for one of the bolt holes ,but on my truck the bump stops are rivited to the bottom of the frame rail.is that info for the truck version?

If you're making it yourself, put it where you want it...

DIY's has a tab on the bottom that has an oval hole. Having the kit here (but not installed) I can see how it's supposed to align on that rivet hole. I haven't installed it yet because I'm running new stainless brake and fuel lines in that area which I want to get done first, then evaluate how this mount will work around those.
 
That makes sense now.thats what i wanted to know didnt know about the little tab.thought i was lookin at the wrong thing.thanks a bunch man
 
Where the lower shocks mount on the axle will dictate where the upper shock crossmember will mount. I just went through this install and between the offset springs, offset 1" blocks there wasn't a single bolt hole lining up for me.
 
Yeh youre right my axle is pushed back around 3in....so its gonna end up in a different spot i guess.
 
This is what i got. figured i post it it might help someone that wants to make one ... lookin like itll work out just fine.
