So I have a indy5 engine hoist and I feel it's missing parts but I can't find any examples online of what it looks like complete. It's a 45422 module and it folds up but I feel it's missing the front wheels when you fold up the legs. Any one have any info on these hoists? As you can see from the pictures it has that leg that drops down underneath the lower front brace but I don't know how it holds it self up. 20240529_162823.jpg20240529_162756.jpg20240529_162740.jpg

I've looked, don't see anything on these.

Fold it up and put them where it'll work.

I don't believe you can fold this one up.
It can be taken apart that's it.
The base for the cylinder is resting on the horizontal legs that you want to fold up.

I think it does fold. That's why the legs attach with eye bolts. The diagonal brace under the cylinder is resting on the bar that spans the legs, but if it's bolted, it may be a single bolt, so the cross-bar rotates to clear the legs.

What you're missing is the extra wheel(s) that keeps it from tipping over while it's folded. Look for attachment points to that center post under where the diagonal brace is sitting.

Any chance putting the boom in the 1/4-ton position turns it into a tripod?

This is all great info, I'll try to get pictures of it folded up Thursday. Those pictures supplied seem like it's the way to go.
