Info Needed Part nu or Vin for late model 400 - 205 Adapter

well gmparts direct cant help me till i give em a pat nu or a vin nu for a vechicle that this set up came in stock set up
so any help would be GREAT
this is JUST for the adapter the 400 - 205 with a circuler bolt pattern

I forgot to post the part number along with what Mark had, of the '80-'84 K-series 400/205 adaptor.
The part number is #14022218 and is still available from GM for an average price of around $200-ish.

The '85-'90 adaptor can be had for an average around $160-ish.

The '91 adaptor is no longer available. I've been trying to locate a source to either stock them or have some NOS leftover. No luck yet. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Don't worry about it. Get the 85-90 TH400/NP205 adapter and do the 5 minutes of machine work required to make it fit the 4L80E. You just need to shave a few thou' off the lip that fits into the back of the tranny. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

This adapter has already been done. You can barely tell, but there is a tiny "step" in the lip area as a result of the machining.

I think the adapter is o-ringed anyway, so a "tight" fit might not be necessary /forums/images/graemlins/thinking.gif

Does anyone have any other part number, such as ones for TH400 - NP 203, and SM465 - NP205 (both versions), TH350 - NP 203/205 etc? I figured maybe we could round them up and put them in a tech section.
