Info on 1 ton center caps

Anyone know what kind of hub cap or center caps came factory on a 16 inch wheel on a 76 1 ton truck? I was told they was the same kind of center caps that came on the 3/4 ton but the 3/4 ton center holes are to small. Pics and info would be great thanks.

I assume we're talking C30, cuz I don't think the K30 was until '77ish.

Here's a coupla pix of some of the possibilities -- the orange and white sixpack in the first pic is at least a 3/4, i.e. has 16" wheels.

Might be helpful to post up a pic of what you're looking at, as there's a bunch of possibilities of what you could have.

I guess I left out important info it is for a 4 wheel drive that I am looking for the info for mainly the front 2 wheels. I cant find factory caps that will go over my hubs. I will go out and get some pics of the actual hubs I am refering to and post them. BRB

the d60 wasnt produced until 77... you must have a big hub d44 if it is 4wd

Here are some crappy pics of the hub you can see where I cut out some 3/4 ton caps to the yellow circle to make them fit but I dont like it. It is possible that you are correct Steve_GMC and it is a big hub d44 from a 77 but if so what cap would it have had on it.

The Hub Cap you need is from a 1976-77 Big hub Dana 44 ,Here is what they liike like on a 16.5 wheel .The opening is 4 1/2 and if you take a stock rear cap and press out the center and the will be a 1/8 section before the yellow ring ( remove the paint ) and then you roll the 1/8 lip in .

If you take your time it will look real close to a stock cap ,the one I posted is a stock cap from a late 76 burb .

If anybody wants to know the wheels in the pics are 16.5x 9 3/4 wheels that were widen out to 16.5 x 14 on a 33x16.50x16.5 FC .

OK thanks... Now I guess I just need to see if I can make the caps I got look as good as those....My fab skills are kinda limited but I sure will give it a wirl....LOL...
