what are the limits of a tbi on a 400. the holley kit i was looking at says good to 275 horse, the stock stuff is said be to able to feed the gm crate 350 that is 330 horse.

my 400 will have just a 4x4 cam for solid low end torque.

just thinking between the holley 2d 670 kit and the stock GM stuff I have in storage here.

I would just go carb but I hate messing with em,LOL

that and I'm running my fiel lines and mounting my tank now just was thinking of throwing my TBI tank in while i was in the works.

the more I look at whats required the more I lean towards the holley 2d kit.
the 400 stock was 175 horse so by doing a cam and intake I'll still be under the 275 spec.

I would think it would be fine on a 400 sb . I doubt your ever gonna rev the snot out of it in a truck . In dunes or mud , maybe you'd want more .

I want to know how Holley rates the horsepower . Net or Gross ?

hint: you can actually make the FPR that is on the holley and make it an AFPR. add a higher pressure fuel pump like xtreme-fi sells and you can go to 450 horse.

I put a holley on my 383 (350 HP) and jacked the pressure way up to about 18-20 instead of 11-13.
