There's a ingersoll rand compressor(model 242-5n) available locally that I think I can get for cheap but the piston is laying in the crank case visible through the fill plug. So that leads me to believe a broken rod, what else could be messed up along with the rod? I'm fairly mechanically inclined so is it feasible for a basic driveway mechanic to repair it?
