On a similar note, a post about a hard start that eventually turned into a no-start condition I followed ended up being because the induction setup was destroyed from too much play in the distributor shaft.

Glad i got it running too. The guy at the parts store knows me so well he just gave me the part for nothing, and told me to settle the bill after i got it running. Of course that was after my 5th trip to his shop today
He has forgotten more about cars than i will ever know, and he was even a little confused about the whole thing.
