Hello friends i have a question. Will the inner fenders of an 86 or 87 burb be the same as an 89 blazer i know the outers are but what about the inners

I was under the impression that all 73-87(91) trucks, blazers, subs, etc. were the same from the front doors forward. All frame, suspension, drivetrain, and body panels (except 73-75 blazer tops and doors) are interchangeable. Anyone want to correct me?

When I say things like 'frame' etc in the above post it is noted to be from the front doors forward.

I believe there is something different in the cowl area between the 73-79 style and the 80-91 style, something about how the hood hinges work IIRC. But of course the sheetmetal is all different from those 2 yr breaks.

As to the original poster, Im 99% sure they will work just fine.

In 1980-1981 they changed the whole front aswell. The fenders, hood, rad support is all different. Those with the round headlights are different than those with square. And yes the inner fenders will be the same. :)

cool. thanks guys for the info ay now all i gotta do is go and pick them up and pray for no rust or little rust theres no such thing as no rust
