Re: \'Innovative\' Diff Covers

i heard the plastic helps repel rocks and helps you crawl over parking pylons no problem!

Re: \'Innovative\' Diff Covers

mabey for show but not for go.

Re: \'Innovative\' Diff Covers

I have to agree with Zakk, though. This would keep the gears protected in the unfotunate event of contact with a pylon, or possibly a grassy median. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

Re: \'Innovative\' Diff Covers

and they show how tough they are by hitting them with a 5 lb hammer, yeah, id like to see how they hold up pushing a 5000 lb rock. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

I was thinking of making my own out of saran wrap. What do ya think, good idea? /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Re: \'Innovative\' Diff Covers

Re: \'Innovative\' Diff Covers

Good thing there's no drive shafts on that thing, someone might be tempted to drive it.

Re: \'Innovative\' Diff Covers

My spontanious reaction to that truck was...

BWAH! HAHAHAH!

... and that doesn't happen very often!

The idea of being able to see in the diff cover is cool, but not at the expense of strength!
