How tough is it to change the input shaft seal on an 84 K20?

Bought the seal kit today and see that there is an O-ring and two seals and a snap ring in the kit.

The parts guy called it the input shaft, it is the column side of the gearbox that I am asking about.

Its not too bad. Careful not to gouge the housing.

Here is how it comes apart.

You can leave the gearbox in the truck and just remove the input shaft assembly with the spool valve and work with that on the bench. Be careful though because the spool valve likes to come out easily and then if you've never messed with this before you could damage the spool valve or drop either of the O-rings that are in there.
