I have a 24 spline 208 with a 700 r4 I am thinking of going to a sm 465 which I have recently discovered is either going to be be 10 spline or 32 spline. I want to keep my 208 since it already ha the dodge rear-half creating a SLE and I have a Tom woods CV Shaft. Can I easily and affordablly change the out put shaft on 465 to a 27 spline is that even possible. any other suggestions?

27 spline???

I don't think you'll be able to get thet setup to work (someone correct me if I'm wrong) but Ive never heard of an adapter to mate a 465 to a 208, I may know a place here in SLC that might could make ya something, let me know

It is easy. You currently have a 27 spline 208 not a 24 spline. You need a 32 spline input gear for the 208. This gear can be found in 208 cases that came behind Th400's or 465's. You will also need the adapter for a 465 to 208 and also need a long output version 32 spline 465.

You disassemble the current 208 and remove the 27 spline gear and reinstall the 32 spline input gear and reassmeble the case. That is it. It isn't hard to do, 208's are simple.

When you do the swap let me know. I may need the 27 spline input gear that you will be removing.
