I recently bought some inside door parts, waited just shy a month to get ‘em & part I needed most is incorrect. Rubber door handle seal ( Taiwan ) . Anyone know where I can get them, short of a junkyard. I prefer USA parts on my vehicles !

Wow can’t believe it’s taken my phone this long to receive your message from Sunday. I got them at LMC.

Have you contacted LMC? They have always had good customer service when I have used them. They sent me new glass years ago, after they verified that they had some on the shelf that was what I would like.
They were also helpful when my Dad had a problem with a part for his.

The picture of rubber for door was different online than one in catalog. But no I haven’t contacted them yet. Soon as I get a chance I will. Thank You

I have OEM seals that sit behind the door panel/door handle available. They are a foam rubber cylinder.

This is one I got from LMC, they are correct configuration but not thick enough. I’d have to take my door panel off passenger side-that sides all back together with parts I had.5FBE3A85-B079-459D-BA7D-9A30319F634A.pngF7F5223C-4CDB-4237-BADD-5D2A2B63030B.png

While I also like to get US made parts, it seems that often there isn't an option. Definitely frustrating when the reproduction doesn't fit properly.

This is the one that goes behind the door panel on the inside handle, correct? Looks like it to me.

Would it be possible to glue the seal to the back side of the door panel? Or use some foam weatherstrip to put the seal towards the door panel?

And didn't some of the later versions have little brush type bristles around the hole?

Yes it’s very frustrating to try n find anything made USA !! Yes it’s the one behind door lever, it’s just not thick enough. And my 77 Suburban had the brushes inside lever also. Thank You for input. If I can’t find something, I’ll just have to make something myself.

I just pulled apart a passenger door with a good one. You can have it for the cost of postage.

I’m confused, that looks like the same one I got from LMC ? The one on passenger door & one that I lost on driver door are much thicker with same configuration. I’m gonna have to take passenger door panel back apart ! Thank You for offer, can u please hang on to it until I get a chance to do that & determine what the heck ?

Do you have the black plastic door handle or the thin chrome pot metal version? This style seal is for the black plastic door handle. And I've never actually seen one in a door until this weekend after parting out thousands of these trucks.
